This USB-C Right Angle to 9-Pin Lemo Right Angle cable is designed to trigger the run/stop of:

  • RED KOMODO
  • RED KOMODO-X
  • RED V-RAPTOR S35, VV, [X]

....when using these gimbals and grips:

  • DJI RS2
  • DJI RS3 + RS3 Pro
  • DJI RS4 + RS4 Pro
  • DJI Focus Pro Grip

Please note: Currently, there is bug where RS4 Pro does not recognise this Run/Stop cable. This happens when no other accessories are connected (motor or transmitter). To ‘wake up’ the RSS port, plug in a DJI USB-C cable into one of the front ports. This bug should be fixed in a future firmware update.

Remote run/stop is also possible with controllers like Master Wheels, Force Pro and Futaba radio control over S-BUS. Expand ↓ for more info.

It's as simple as plug and play! — no additional settings required.

On the gimbals, the USB-C plugs into the RSS Camera Control Port located next to the Tilt Motor.

On the DJI Focus Pro Grip, the USB-C plugs into the RSS Camera Control Port located above the power button.

The 9-Pin Lemo plugs into the EXT port on your camera.

Remote run/stop is also possible when you combine the DJI R Focus Wheel and the DJI Pro Wireless Receiver (switch to CAN on RX and Focus Wheel). Works with these controllers:

  • DJI Master Wheels
  • DJI Force Pro
  • DJI Ronin 2 Remote Controller (joystick)
    or
  • via SBUS: Futaba or similar, when you combine the DJI R Focus Wheel (switch to SBUS) Set Channel 5 on your controller to a Sprung Switch like SH, and set subtrims range of that channel to 0/100 and 140/155
