Does FIZBUSTER require FUSION HUB to work?

Yes. FUSION HUB is acting like an MDR. FIZ motor data is first piped through DJI Transmission, then split out from FUSION HUB at the camera end to Tilta FIZ motors or MōVI compatible motors. FIZBUSTER is the gateway for the Tilta Hand Unit.

Is FIZBUSTER only useful for gimbal rigs?

No. It is useful for any situation (tripod/handheld) where long range FIZ control is required (up to 4 miles / 6km). Fixed FPV drone is a particular demanding use case. 

Which gimbal controllers work with FIZBUSTER?

Ignite Digi Control Deck, NODO Inertia Wheels (with CANBUSTER) and DJI Master Wheels.

S-BUS controllers on MōVI Pro/XL are compatible. Please use COM2 port for S-BUS RX. 

D-BUS controllers on Ronin 2, RS3 Pro/RS4 Pro are compatible.

Not Compatible: Ronin 4D Grips and Gyro Mode on the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor.

What FIZ motors are compatible with FIZBUSTER?

Tilta Nucleus-M I, Tilta Nucleus-M II, Tilta Nucleus Nano II, as well as MōVI Pro/MōVI XL TSU compatible motors: Hedén and Chrosziel.

Can I use DJI Focus Pro Motors with FIZBUSTER and FUSION HUB?

No. FIZBUSTER is not compatible with DJI Focus Pro Motors or DJI Focus Pro LiDAR. 

Can FIZBUSTER control Ronin 4D or Inspire 3 lenses?

No. For these cameras you will require a DJI Focus Pro Hand Unit (2024) or DJI 3-Channel Follow Focus Hand Unit (2023).

Can I control the Tilta VND or new e-ND?

We are investigating the 4th motor for VND or control of the new Tilta e-ND control. We expect this will work with just a firmware update to our products. More info soon!

Does FIZBUSTER ship with a cable?

Yes. FIZBUSTER ships with a 30-inch 7-Pin Lemo to 7-Pin Lemo Control Cable. We also offer a longer 16ft variant separately.

How does FIZBUSTER mount?

FIZBUSTER is fast to mount and dismount. It slides into the hand grip slot of the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor cage and locks into place with a lever — and it works on both sides.

Does FIZBUSTER require power?

The FIZBUSTER module draws a small amount of power from the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor via the pogo pins. The power source could be a DJI WB37 Intelligent Battery on the monitor, or whatever battery that is mounted to Control Deck, Inertia Wheels, or Master Wheels.

Does FIZBUSTER fit inside the Control Deck Pelican hard case?

Yes. In fact, it can remain mounted to the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor.

What are the red warning stickers for?

In the box you will find six red Warning Stickers. These are an extra safety precaution. They’re designed to be stuck on the battery door of the Tilta Nucleus-M Hand Unit Gen 1. They are to reminder operators to remove the internal 18650 batteries when using FIZBUSTER. Why? Because some operators use non protected 18650’s. We have built protection into FIZBUSTER to prevent the 18650 batteries trying to charge from FIZBUSTER. This is not an issue with Tilta Nucleus-M Hand Unit Gen 2.

Can I use FIZBUSTER and CANBUSTER at the same time?

Yes. FIZBUSTER and CANBUSTER slide into the hand grip slots of the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor cage. They work on either side!

Does FIZBUSTER require firmware updates?

Yes. FUSION HUB, Control Deck and CANBUSTER must be on at least Version 2.1 to communicate with FIZBUSTER.

How does the Rod Mount attach to FIZBUSTER?

The super short 15mm Rod Mount is included with FIZBUSTER. Use the included M4 x 10mm socket head cap screws to mount the Rod Mount to either side of the FIZBUSTER module. There’s no need to over tighten these threads.
