TB50 batteries are 4280mAh / 97.58Wh.
Below are approximate run times until battery protection cut off which is 2%.
3.5hrs KOMODO only
3hrs KOMODO + SmallHD Focus Pro OLED
1hr45m KOMODO + Teradek Bolt + Zacuto EVF + SmallHD 502 Bright + 3x Tilta FIZ Motors
No battery data will pass through to KOMODO.
Use the TB50 LED indicator lights to judge battery level. We recommend changing the battery at one light (25%) or at the latest, one light flashing. This is the same procedure for TB50’s on MōVI Pro and Hammerhead.
Three 15V 2-Pin Lemo outputs provide power for accessories like a Teradek transmitter, SmallHD monitor, EVF, MDR, FIZ motors and feeding the Power Breakout.
The ports are angled at 45 degrees so the right angle Lemo cables neatly route around the KOMODO touch screen and buttons.
The orange LED light illuminates when the regulator is active and delivering 15V to the camera and Lemo ports.
The USB-C input provides power source flexibility and enables you to hot swap the TB50!
Use your existing USB-C power supply, for example Apple's MacBook Pro 61W or 96W USB-C Power Adapter, to provide continuous run time when shooting an interview for example.
Alternatively, connect a high capacity power bank such as the Cygnett Chargeup Edge+ 27K or Tether Tools ONsite 87W Battery Pack. We've listed more battery recommendations below.
You must use a power source with a minimum of 60W (20V at 3A) output to enable the input. This USB-C input does not charge the TB50 battery.
The blue LED light illuminates when the power source has switched from TB50 to USB-C.
Underneath you’ll find the integrated power cable exiting the housing. This cable is just the right length to reach the KOMODO DC-IN port.
To prevent this cable from being accidentally wrenched out, we’ve incorporated an internal cable loop.
We've sweated over the details on this one!
The BP battery mounts are CNC machined from high strength Ertacetal (high performance plastic). The material creates a super smooth, low friction surface that reduces the chance of removing paint from your KOMODO battery slots.
An added benefit is the battery mounts are replaceable if the situation arises and the Power Pack is damaged from being dropped.
The Power Pack firmly mounts to KOMODO, supported by both BP slots - listen for the engaging click!
Recessed areas ensure there’s clearance for the BP battery pins to avoid wear and tear.
Detaching is as easy as pressing the operators side battery eject button and lifting off.
TB50 Power Pack was designed to integrate with the compact size of KOMODO.
The overall profile fits within the KEYSTONE and is compatible with our Carbon Side Plate. This keeps the camera package neat and tidy, benefitting the operator and streamlines the Quick Mode Change transition from handheld to tripod and gimbal.
We include a nylon braided, magnetic USB-C to USB-C 1.8m PD cable and two magnetic couplers. Capable of powering at a maximum of 100W (20V at 5A).
Keep in mind. This power cable is USB2.0 spec (480Mbps) and is not ideal for fast data transfers.
We offer a broad range of premium cables to connect your transmitter, monitor, recorder and EVF:
