The R2 Universal Tripod Adapter (R2-017) allows your rig to be securely mounted on tripods using our award winning Gimbal Mate ‣ Universal Camera Bottom Plate.

For those in studio mode using heavyweights like the Angénieux Optimo Style 25-250mm, we made this Adapter Plate so you can use your studio bridge plates like ARRI BP-8.

The R2 Tripod Adapter features two ¼”-20 and two ⅜"-16 threads, making it compatible with a wide range of tripod quick release plates.
